WATERPRAXIS partners met in Lodz for a 3-day meeting. On the first day management issues of the project were presented and discussed. During the second day the workpackage 4 and 5 meeting took place. Partners presented the work done so far and the results reached until now.
On 18-20 April 2010, the 10th annual conference on "Current Issues of Sustainable Development - Governance and Institutional Change" was organised at the Faculty of Economics of Opole University. The conference was supported by WATERPRAXIS, and co-organised by Selcuk University (Turkey), Hochschule Zittau-Goerlitz (Germany), Internationales Hochschulinstitut (Zittau, Germany), FH Goettingen (Germany), University of Groningen (The Netherlands) and INYRSS (Lithuania). Participants came from Turkey, Romania, Italy, Ukraine, Denmark, The Netherlands, Germany, Kazakhstan and Poland.
The course on utilizing economic analyses in water resource planning in Kaunas, Lithuania, brought together an international group of 33 participants. The course was organized by Kaunas University of Technology, Danish National Environmental Research Institute (NERI) and Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE).
On 12 January 2010 the first Waterpraxis steering group meeting was held in Kaunas, Lithuania. The work package leaders presented achievements of the 1st and 2nd project period and plans for further proceeding in the WP’s were discussed. 
On 09th December, the specialist symposium on „Climate Change and Sustainable Water Management“ was held in Lyngby/Copenhagen as one of the many parallel events to the 15th United Nations Conference of the Parties (COP15).
The waterpraxis WP 3 and 4 meeting took place on 23 – 24 November 2009 in Naestved, Denmark. Pia Frederiksen from the National Environmental Research Institute, which leads WP3, prepared guidelines for the analysis of RBMPs of each partner country.
On 24 – 25 September 2009 the third project meeting of Waterpraxis took place in Helsinki, Finland. The Finnish Lead Partner invited the other partners to discuss about ongoing activities in the work packages and about finance and activity reports.
The first Work Package 3 (WP3) meeting took place on 23 – 24 June at the National Environmental Research Institute (NERI) in the sunny Roskilde, Denmark. Partners from Finland, Poland, Lithuania, Denmark and Germany participated in the meeting.
The kick-off meeting of the Interreg IVB Baltic Sea project WATERPRAXIS took successfully place on 30-31 March in the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany.
